How To Setup Mail Forwarding In Gmail

Are you wondering to know what setting should you put so that every mail gets forwarded automatically ? If that is the case than you don’t need to search the web any more for this topic because I am going to tell you step by step how to setup mail forwarding in gmail. To know how to automatically forward an emailΒ  just follow the simple step by step tutorial given below :

Step 1 : Login to your Gmail account whose emails you want to forward to another email address.

 

Step 2 : Now simply click the gear icon on the top right of any Gmail page and select mail settings.

 

Step 3 : Now go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

 

Step 4 : Now click Add a forwarding address.

Step 5 : A new text box will appear asking you to enter the new email address, simply type in the address to whom you would like to forward every mail that you will get.

 

Step 6 : As soon as you will click Next a the verification message will be sent to the given email address for security reasons.

Step 7 : Now open the other email address and you will see a verification message sent by Google team in you inbox, just open it and click the verification link.

Step 8 : Now as you have confirmed that you are willing to forward you emails to another email and the other email owner has also verified this thing so now you need to go back to your original Gmail account.

Step 9 : Now go back to setting and Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

Step 10 : Now select the settings according to your need and click save changes.
