A Launcher app is one of the fundamentals to your phone, because there’s no way HTC Sense, MotoBLUR or Touchwiz can do the job. There are a lot of launchers available in the market. A Launcher  is how your home screen and App drawer looks. There are launchers which are visually attractive, some are fast, some use less memory(RAM). Here is a list of the most popular launchers.

1. ADW Launcher ADW could be the most popular Android launcher, which is as the default home screen launcher in the popular custom ROM CyanogenMod. If you want to seriously change your Android launcher, ADW launcher is the best choice. It can customize desktop previews, app drawer, and drag & drop action buttons. You can also unveil the Dockbar flicking up the app drawer button and drop another 6 shortcuts, folders, or apps.

2. LauncherPRO LauncherPro offers quite a few extra preferences and incredible performance. You can see the change log at my website listed below. It also offers a tiny bit of themability for those want to customize theme, though you won’t be able to theme the entire UI, you can only change the dock. LauncherPro comes in a free version and a $2.99 version, the latter one offers some extra widgets and widget settings.

3. Zeam Launcher Zeam is another free launcher, launched at the XDA Developers Forum first, but now available in the market. You get to keep 3 to 9 screens which you can access via a screen picker, Backward compatible to cupcake(v1.5). The App supports full-screen mode and auto rotates the orientation based on how to hold the device. Scrollable app shortcuts dock with drawer handle make it easy to navigate and use. There is also an option of Quick uninstall from delete-zone Trash Icon. Users of the Zeam Launcher claim it to be quite zippy and lightweight, so if you want to switch to a UI that is not so resource hungry then it might be the right choice for you.
